Is there a way to force users tp include certain fields in their view?

So since V6 some of the users in my company have started creating customize views. But Clarizen is now so customizable that as the administrator I cannot guarantee that they all see the same thing!

For example on the main Cases view I would like to make sure that every user will always see the State, Status, Assigned To, Alias and Product (a custom field). They can fill their view up with whatever other info they find useful personally but this way I know that if one user says "look up alias number 12121 for out Email product" the other one won't come back with "Alias? What is that? I don't have an Alias on my screen?"

Anyone come across this sort of problem?

Currently, the only way to come close to this is to create a specific view and share with another user. BUT...this is not keep the user from seeing/changing the view. It makes it the default View the next time they login and view it. After changing, the system remembers the last used View. 

This will be possible soon. We are working on a new concept called Profiles due out later this year (probably November) where the Profiles will allow you to create a more unique experience within Clarizen per User. Custom Views, default views, individual settings, Home Page, etc.

Thanks Boris, will the admin user  for the company be able to control those profiles though?

The flexibility in V6 is great, but the admin user needs to be able to restrict it so that all the end users have a common view of the important data.

Hi James,

Yes, an organization Administrator will be authorized to control profile settings, the same way as currently is able to adjust all system settings including user maintenance, license distribution, currencies, rates and organizational settings.
