Highlight the task you would like to move >> click on Misc tab >> Move button. See link: http://screencast.com/t/0A6auBFIRC4I.
If you are moving a task within the same workplan, you can use cut/paste button or drag and drop (make sure you clear out all filters and sorts before moving the task). See video: http://screencast.com/t/rehr9AIf.
