Groups & Sub Groups

I have a group that includes 5 sub groups. If I post in the social feed for the main group, it does not notify anyone in the sub groups. Is there a way that all sub groups get notification of anything posted in the main group?

This is by design but I will open a change request to change this behavior as this is a common Use Case.

I know this is an old post and request, but I was just trying to complete the same action.

Any update on whether this change was ever made, and if there's a way to complete the same action?

I'd prefer if it notified all of the sub groups.
