Error when installing the Excel Plugin

Originally from ticket #8696.

Hi

I downloaded the Clarizen Excel Plugin and when I try to install it I get the following error message.

"The value of the property 'type' cannot be parsed. The system cannot find the file specified."

Please can you assist me with this.

I have Excel 2013 and Windows 7

1. Uninstall Visual Studio Tools for Office Runtime (Control Panel -> Programs and Features)

2. Delete the complete VSTO folder (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VSTO and C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\VSTO ) - IMPORTANT

3. Install Visual Studio Tools for Office Runtime again (Can be done by re-run the Excel Add-in setup process)
