Timesheet Future Work Items Filter Doesn't Seem to Work

I'm having trouble with the timesheet display. My timesheet shows me every reportable work item that I am scheduled to work on, even if the work items are months in the future. When I click "None" under the "Show future work items" filter, it cuts the list down considerably, but it still shows me numourous items that are not yet scheduled to happen. The only way I've found that really works is the change the filter to "Custom" and to specify the date range I want to see. Why is it acting this way? Why can't I just click "This Week" and use the "None" option under "Show future work items" ?
