Portfolio - need more details

I need details and explanations of what a Portfolio is exactly in Clarizen. The benefits of using it, why, when, etc.

Jennifer,

Portfolios allow you to group your Projects similar to a Folder or Hammock. The porfolio shows roll up fields so that you can view Financial fields over multiple Projects for a specific group or customer as an example. We currently do not really have any detailed documented descriptions of Porfolios but I will request this be added in the User Manual

Jeffrey,

Unfortunately there is not a lot of documentation currently though I have already requested this. Is there something specific you are looking for in regards to Portfolios?
