Hi Ashley,
Are you aware of our "Simple Find & Replace Resource/Manager" App?

Hi, I was wondering if there was a simple way to across the board remove assignments for a resource that has been disabled so that they no longer have any open items assigned to them

I am, but I’m not sure how that would work in being able to remove a resource from a task without replacing them with a new resource if a replacement hasn’t been found yet (I would think we’d want the alert that no resource is assigned rather than just assigning a dummy resource). Also, it looks like that would need to be done on an individual project/task basis, not on all items across the application, and it isn’t available on cases.
Hi Ashley,
Following up with Yossi, there is no simple way to do it across the board. This would require a workflow rule to update across the board as you mention. It is similar to the app but running on every project and not just one. You can reach out to your CSM regarding this.
