I have a task that has various sub-tasks below it - let's call it Task 1.1 (with a bunch of small tasks underneath), and I am re-organizing my project plan and I have created another task (lets call it Group 1) and I want to indent Task 1.1 so that it becomes a sub-task of Group 1. However, Clairzen does not enable the Indent button when I select Task 1.1 and / or all of the sub-tasks underneath it. How do I do this? I should be able to add a new task and easily indent other tasks to be grouped underneath it.

I am not certain I fully understand but it would be more clear with a screen capture. In case it is just an order issue, can you be sure that the Task 1.x is directly below Task Group 1. Then highlight Task 1.1 and indent. Does it still not work? Please attach a screen capture so that I have a better understanding of what your Workplan looks like.

This cannot be done because Sample data extract - C is not a Task, it is a Milestone. You cannot have a Milestone as a child of a Task. you would need to either Make the Sample data extract Task into a Milestone or change Sample data extract - C into a Task.

It looks like there may be a customization in place that is preventing you from doing that. I would check with your system administrator to see if they are aware of any such customizations and if not, please open a case with us and we'll be happy to investigate further.
Please provide temporary login credentials and a link to the task that you're trying to indent.
