Moving custom item from Request to Cases item

I created a custom field under the "Request" item.  Is there a way to move this custom field up to the "Cases" item level so all cases can use it?

Jimmy, 

Unfortunately, moving the rules from one item type to another is not available. You will need to create a new rule at the Cases item type and duplicate the configuration.
