Hi Ashley, for this exact requirement Clarizen has the special permission 'super user' that can be set per user.

Hi,
I often make changes to our department's projects as a favor to the various project managers. Unfortunately, the only way to do this is to change the Project Manager to me, which I can do because I am the administrator. Unfortunately, this means that I have to remember to change it back.
It would be very helpful if account administrators had the ability to change the parameters of a project without becoming the project manager.
Thanks,
Ashley

Hi Rami,
I am currently a superuser, however, when I change a parameter of a project, a validation error pops up that says that only the project manager can make these changes. I can change the project manager to me, but that's kind of a pain because I have to remember to change it back, or the actual project manager because otherwise, the actual project manager gets locked out. It would be very helpful if the Super User could make these schedule changes without making themselves the project manager first. Thanks!
Hi Ashley,
This sounds to me like a validation rule specific to your environment that checks if the user is the project manager.
Can you please check that?
If you would like me to take a look at your environment,i will be more than happy as well.
Thanks.
Hi Rami,
Sorry it has been so long since I last posted on this. I must have missed your reply. I am not aware of any validation rules that have been set for this. Would you mind looking into our account?
Thanks,
Ashley
