We are working on the redesign of the UI that will include saving column widths and other user defined settings. Expand All is one of the more common requests from users and will also be made available with the new UI towards the end of the year.

I am often jumping back and forth between projects. The FIRST thing I do EVERY time is resize the task name column so I can see the whole subject. It would be great if 1) it expanded automatically to show the whole subject or 2) remembered how I sized each column.
Any update on this. Every single time I click on a project the first thing I have to do is resize task name.
I agree, re-sizing every time that you open up a gantt chart is a real pain. It either needs to 1) autosize, 2) remember your settings or ideally 3) use user defined settings with the ability to add columns and change the order i.e. like MS Project !
Remembering the settings is coming later this year when we release 'Profiles' which will allow you to do a number of different things with views and save them on a per user or group level (i.e. Profiles).
