Great request, this has come up in the past and this should be addressed when we release grouping options (which will compliment sorts, filters, and the in-panel searches).

FollowTimesheets - Collapsable entries by project
Hello,
We recently started to use the Timesheet function. Our team is to several projects concurrently with several entries per project. We would like to be able to collapse all the entries under a project in a timesheet to make it easier to display the tasks a resource is recording time to. Right now, we use a custom view with Project and Task Name displayed and sorted by Project.

If you want to promote this, click on the UP arrow near the original post. This will promote the request and the higher the number, the more customers are wanting this. Our Product team will see this and it will increase priority for the request. you can do this throughout the community on all posts you like... specifically the Change Requests (i.e. Ideas and Suggestions)
Done, but it changed the # from 2 to 1 then back to 2, so I am not sure I am doing it correctly.

Managing time entry for multiple tasks across dozens of projects is crushing our development team. This must be a popular request - is there any update to CR-191362?
This continues to be an issue for us 2.5 years after my original post. Is there a target date for this functionality in CR -191362?
I originally requested this back in November of 2011 before there was even a community forum to engage with (we were *very* early adopters of Clarizen). I've periodically asked for it since then, although I admit I've given up and haven't asked about it in recent years. Almost 5 years on and it still isn't possible.
I'll give a big +1 on this too. Timesheets are a considerable issue for us. We're getting good support from Clarizen on this to come up with creative ways to help us capture time the way we need to, but a good bit of the struggle revolves around getting the right views set up for the right people, etc. I watched a guy on my team go in to enter time recently, and I was floored by the number of items he had to sift through to find a place to enter a half hour block of time.
This request isn't a silver bullet, but it'd go a long way to help out.

Many of our users now use the task view to avoid this even though we were told best practice is to use timesheets.

No updates yet as there may be some performance consequences to implementing this.
We have exactly the same feedback from our users, the Timesheet module is unwieldy as many users have tasks spread across a number of projects, in addition we use Overhead projects to capture 100% of time (which are visible to all users). Being able to expand / collapse by project, with collapsed by default would make it so much more functional. For reference here is an example of my view (and I don't really have task assignments...)
