The Gantt will soon be integrated into the view system, and I think you would be able to get mostly there with a combination of the Gantt and columns (for displaying time worked, etc.).

Modify gantt bars
I would like to be able to switch views in the gantt chart; one view i would see the task duration (normal as it is now) the other view i would only see a mark for days and time worked on the task (information from the time sheet . and the other view would show me task duration but have a mark to show the day and time worked
