You could create a project called something like "Ongoing work" or "Action Items" to use for these one-offs.

Recurring To-Do Task
It would be nice to be able to create a one-off recurring To-Do Task that isn't part of a Project. There are a few things that really don't fall within a Project, but still repeat at a certain frequency. thank you.
