Hello,
I'm proposing more advanced notification features, specifically for users like Project Managers and Managers. These users would be able to 'subscribe' to custom notifications that might be useful to them, such as when things like Start Date, Due Date, Duration, or State of their work items (all, Projects, or Milestones) change. They can also subscribe to be notified when their items are deleted.

We currently have this but not as a 'Subscribe' but as a customization. We have prepackaged custom actions and workflow rules for exactly what you are looking for on our Apps Marketplace. Simply search for notification...
