Reports: Filter chart

Often, you will have many lines in a report but still want to show a chart. I'd like to be able to filter the chart so that I show on items larger/smaller than some value or where the value is not x. The chart gives little value if too busy.

My apologies, I provided the wrong ID. Here is the correct one... CR-276271
I have deleted the prior post to avoid confusion.

Peter,

Just so that this is handled appropriately. Could you provide a Use case of how you want this to work? Remember, the chart shows you data based on the filter in the configuration of the report. Are you saying want to be able to filter the Chart/Table after the fact (when run) based on the existing data in the report?

Please clarify. Thank you

Let's say I have a report that lists our projects (maybe 200) with % profitability.

I want to show them in a column chart but this either cannot be done (Clarizen selects a subset) or the chart makes no sense because 200 lines makes it impossible to read the text.

So I want to make it possible to make a sort of a "highlight" chart where I only show "Top 20 results", "Bottom 20", "where project type is XX", whatever - you get the idea.

This is saved with the report and not something set "on the fly" when viewing it.
