When you are importing a project from MSP, there are 3 fields that Clarizen looks at to match MSP resources to Clarizen resources: First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
This is very important to know prior to importing - a popup note of this would be very helpfull to newcomers to clarizen.
My MSProject upload experience:
Until transferring to clarizen I had used MSP without collaberation - a single licence of course without a server. The resource pool I had mistakenly (but not critical to MSP) held the same user name under different spellings. When uploading to clarizen I benifted from removal of the resource names from the project - otherwise the upload to clarizen would have created as many users as per the number of name variations in the project. I had maintaned a resource pool which MSP updates each time a new resource is added to a project.
