If you have the notes window open. You can hover above the note list and receive tooltip previews of the notes.

How to read note quickly
it would be nice to be able to view the note's content without opening - similar to the tooltip used in the forum that displays the content of the dialoge- hope I explained and you can understand the suggestion

If one note is written for the specific item, Double click on the notes icon in the grid will open the note in the Preview mode.
If there are several notes written, double click will open corresponding right side panel from which you could open the wanted note
