I am trying to set up a work item level field that will be updated with the current date every time a discussion post is created or replied to. We have created a work item custom field called LastCommentedOn and set a workflow rule for discussion message as attached. The rule isn't erroring out, but the field isn't updating. Any ideas? Thanks!

I don't know if it is still relevant but basically what you need is a WR on Discussion Message creation and sent $Container.C_LastCommentedOn = OrganizationNow()
