Default Member's Availability % when resources change

If the default member's availability is less than 100%, that % should be applied when that person is assigned a task - even if it is a resource replacement, right?
Resource A - 100% - 8 hour task takes one 8 hour day
reassign task to Resource B who has a default of %50 - the task should change to 2 four hour days.

Hi Christopher,

That is correct. Just got to make sure that Resource B have max units to 50% when replacing resources.

Thanks - then I am pretty confident that is not happening. Might there be some weirdness with starting with template? or when the user's availability % is changed?
