Is there any way I can get all my active projects to appear on my homepage? (without having to go to pg 2)? This would make things easier (to see everything at once). I wouldn't mind giving up the "My tasks" panel to see all active projects on one page.
My group wants to make their home page less cluttered, by making it easier and cleaner to view. I want to eliminate unnecessary clicks to getting the information I want to view.
Also, in a perfect world you wouldn't repeat the project name for every task listed on my home page either.

Hello,
This may be the way the Project Panel is configured. Note that the My Project panel references a view called My Projects. If you go to that view (click on My Project from the panel) you will see the number of projects that it will show per page (bottom left). If you change this to All, you should get the view you want.
Understand that you will still need to click See All or expand the My Projects panel to view in fullscreen to see this.
You can also set your Projects module to be your landing page in My Details>Landing Page.
