I have seen some images with a simple on/off toggle switch for the completion percentage for a task. How do I set a completion toggle for a specific task in a project? I want to do this only for specific tasks which are simple such as gaining approval or sign-off, while I'd like to keep the rest of tasks as standard completion percentage where the user will type in effort or completion %.

As explained by Bryan, this cannot be done out of the box. You can specify % Complete field on the Work plan as a toggle for all or none. You cannot specify it for specific Tasks.

The toggle is set at a view level and I believe the answer from Clarizen it will be difficult or impossible at a task level within a view. When editing your view you will be able to set the %complete as a toggle.
