At the moment Clarizen calculates daily rates based on hourly rates setup. Many Professional services offer consulting based on daily rates. converting daily rates into hourly rates results in odd numbers, particularly when discounted rates are involved. it also results in rounding off the rates.

A daily rate we do not have out of the box. This would require a Change Request. What you could try is creating custom fields to meet your needs. The custom fields would be your daily rate and then you can have a workflow rule or formula that updates the desired field to give you your daily rates total for a project. You can even configure these fields to roll up the data to the Milestone and Project level.

If you create the custom field at the Work Item type, you will be able to see and set it at Task, Milestone and Project work items.
