
You can make the task a draft before making it active and make changes to dates before making it active and it wont change the dates.

In Clarizen, if you add a sub-task it changes work hours, start and due dates of the task under which this task is added. This then also changes any linked items. be careful there is no undo.
The workaround is to insert tasks instead of add.
