Apply row based conditional formatting

It would be useful to be able to apply 'row based' conditional formatting as well as the current individual field based formatting.

Rationale: There are occasions when it is appropriate to highlight a whole row in a particular view. At the moment you have to add conditional formatting to every field in the row individually which can be time consuming (Especially if the condition is complex involving multiple fields and/or values). There is also no current way of copying conditional formatting from one field to another.

Suggested Approach: Allow the user to select a drop down for conditional formatting on the entire row. Still allow for individual field formatting to apply 'on-top' of any row based formatting. This would allow for some very specific formatting to be applied.

e.g.: A condition occurs where the whole row needs to be highlighted with a background colour of light red. This get applied as the row based conditional format. However a couple of fields need their text to be bold or a different colour based on another condition and this can still be applied at the field level 'on top' of the row based formatting. As a rule, any duplicate/conflict between the two should be over-ridden by the field based criteria..

Thanks for listening.

Just to add to this...

Make your FIRST UAT TEST encompass the abilty to HIGHLIGHT a row that has a DUPLICATE value in one of the fields.

Let's say you have a Customer Email field\column, then highlight EVERY ROW that has a duplicate value.

This is possible in Google Sheets natively and in Excel Online with a Plug-In, so maybe Clarizen can add this functionality, because you can highlight DUPLICATE values across columns, but not across rows OR even highlight the row...

Is there an update on this request?  I'd like to be added.

This is also desperately needed in our organization. We have nearly 1000 user base and the inability to highlight the entire row is limiting when attempting to present information from within Clarizen.

Please add Edwards Lifesciences to the list for the CR and for notifications.

thanks.

I'd like this feature as well.  It is very time consuming to make updates one column at a time.

This was originally submitted in 2016. Has this feature been put on the roadmap? Is there any ETA?

Row conditional formatting would be great if possible.
