We can definitely submit a feature request for you. Is it possible to upload to Youtube instead and post the Youtube link in Clarizen? You can play Youtube videos from within Clarizen.
We review a lot of videos in our projects. We'd like to have a player integrated in Clarizen so that we don't have to download a file to play it. Over many versions of video, this process also chews up a lot of local memory if we have to download each time.

We have several review cycles per each video. Adding the interim step of uploading to Youtube would be an added complication to the existing process.
Thank you for submitting this feature request, for future reference here is the request ID - CR-314960
Pete,
Has any progress been made on this feature request? 90% of our projects contain video and we want to have a quick playback through Clarizen. Have you found a good solution to your issue?
Jeff
Hi Jeff, unfortunately we currently have no ETA when this feature request will be rolled out.
Jeff, unfortunately, the best we could come up with was simply downloading the file to a local drive. After playback, we are diligent about deleting the in-process files and archive the final. Because of the memory limitation on Clarizen, often we are inclined to keep the files on DropBox and provide a link in Clarizen tasks to the shared file. DropBox does have a playback mechanism, so it's an ok workaround. But we end up spending more money on shared licenses of Dropbox as a result. It would be nice if Clarizen could be a more self-contained application.
I hope Clarizen decides it's worthy enough to get on their roadmap soon. Any way to up-vote enhancement requests?
Yes indeed, every customer that that posts in this thread is added to our internal feature request list (under CR-314960). This is the best way to bump priority.
