Reports with grouping display only grouping summaries in Dashboard

Any reports that use grouping in the result set will show only the grouping summaries when used as a panel in a dashboard.

As a result, I have to make my report a Pivot Report, one option to display the grouping and subset data (for the chart) and another with no grouping to display the subset data without grouping.in the Dashboard.

Ideally, the dashboard panel should display the data in the same way that the report it is calling does... or, probably to satisfy a greater user base, provide the option for either layout.
