When we deployed the Time Reporting Compliance App and added it to the Master Profile, this had the effect of making it immediately available to ALL Profiles. This was not desirable because we have then go back into each individual Profile and remove it. It would make more sense that the app should be individually added to each Profile that needs to access the app, not the other way around
Anything that is added to the Master Profile will automatically be added to all profiles. You can also use the Default profile, which will not automatically add the app to any existing profiles but will add it by default to new profiles.

My understanding from Clarizen support team was that in order to deploy an app, eg. Time Reporting Compliance I had to add it to the Master Profile, which is fine, but if it propagates to all profiles, then I have to manually go back and then one by one remove the app from the profiles which should not be accessing this new App. Are you saying when we release the App next we should deploy it in Default Profile instead of Master Profile?
