Using Views with the Portal

 I created a portal for a select group of people and created a special view with. When I log into Clarizen I changed the view for what I wanted to use but when I checked the portal view it had switched views. Isn't the view locked in to the portal I created? It seems the view changes when I change my view and is not locked into the view I created for the portal.

Any insight to this would be helpful.

Pam, 

There could be multiple reasons why you are seeing different views. First, you created a Portal for users. Did you specify this Portal as the HOME PAGE for the users on their profiles directly or on the Profile they are a member of? Most of the time it is due to the Profile you are using and if a user is a member multiple Profiles it may aggregate the permissions. If a user changes a view, the system will remember this as "last view used" and use it the next time you go to that Module or log in.

If this does not help, we may need further information such as an image showing the issue or if this requires private information to be shared, open a ticket.

Thank you. I think it may be best to assign the portal to each individual's home page but I'm not sure how to do that. Can you point me in the direction where to find this out?
