Accessing Calendar exceptions via Excel Add-in

I'm trying to get Calendar exceptions out of Clarizen and into Excel. It looks like the Excel Add-in should be able to do this, but I can't get it to work.

When you create a new query in Excel, there are three Regular Item Types in the drop-down list which seem to relate to Calendar exceptions

  • ResourceCalendarException
  • ResourceCalendarExceptionAbsolute
  • ResourceCalendarExceptionRelative

However, when I select any of these, and add all the fields to the query, no data is extracted to Excel.

I'm I missing something here?

Moving to customizations. Also, I didn't realize exceptions were even accessible from the Excel Add In.

Hi Andrew,

Those fields are not the Calendar Exception that you are looking for. Those fields are related to the new WorkByDay functionality that we intend to release in our Summer Release (end of June). Regular Calendar Exceptions are not accessible via the Excel Add-in.

Please let me know if makes sense.

Tamir

I'm sure it will make sense in June.

Is there anywhere I can see what you are planning to release in June (or further into the future), so I don't spend effort on customizations that are soon to be turned into core functionality.
