When creating a new Project, do not want system to mark checkbox to 'Make owner for the entire work plan' as a default.

This change / Enhancement has been surfaced by my users as well. They are finding that if they fail to un-check this checkbox AND they are creating Work items for a neighboring resource or team, they sometimes are 'locked out' of further revising the newly created Work Item because they have no permissions to the newly-created Work Item.

I apologize for the late reply! I have added you to the request. At the moment, it is still unplanned but it is on our radar.
Please add me to the list of folks who would like to have ability to set this field's default value. I have discovered that I do not want to ever have this field selected (on) when i create new projects due to the way my organization works. I'm getting timesheets to approve, receiving project discussions for projects, etc. and do not need any of this simply because I am project creator. Thanks

Please add me to the list of requesters for this as well. We frequently have PMs that need to assign a different PM to a Project, and then they want to remove themselves as a Resource but cannot because they are the "Owner" of all work items.
Please add me to the list as well. This feature is causing issues when we are planning the work and do not want to assign any resources or use planning resources.
