Filter earliest or latest date on report

Be able to filter with most recent date or latest date on a report. 

Use case: using the daily snapshot app, which I have customized, to collect a set of financial and date fields every day. These fields are time stamped. In some cases I'll get a list of rows in a report and I know I want the oldest or newest, but I don't know the specific date. So I would want to filter to get oldest or newest.
