Predictive Estimation dates for Task Completion

It would be great to see a predictive task completion date based on the resources assigned, their workload and the hours assigned to the task itself. Right now the Estimated End Date is really not useful and often provides dates in the past even thought the task still is not complete and remaining effort still shows hours left.
