We need a more granular ability to track and report project status than on track, at risk and off track.
Would like the ability to add more categories; not changing the existing 3, but adding more in there that better speak to our workflow.

It would definitely be very helpful to have multiple project statuses available when working on projects, as the 3 categories are not always descriptive enough for our purposes for tracking project status internally.
You can do this today by creating a custom field (picklist) along with a workflow rule that will set the status based on your specific criteria.
