We have use cases to share portions (select sub-projects) with select stakeholders, excluding other sub-projects that are not relevant to them. If I have a parent project/campaign with sub-projects A-D, I would like the functionality to choose to include sub-projects A and B only with one stakeholder and C and D only with another.

You can share each project as a widget individually. The negative is now you have 4 different widgets. Another option is to create a parent project for A & B and another for C & D, and then share the parent projects.
