It would be really useful to have a select/deselect all option below report graphs. Unless this feature already exists?

I'm not sure I understand the use case. By default everything is selected. If you select one item, then the grid will filter the data based on what is selected. To select all again, you can hit the reset button on top of the report graph. If you deselect all, the grid will have no data (no real use case that I can see for that).
When using a multi line graph you have a number of tags supplied beneath the graph, all of these are highlighted by default, if you have a lot of these the graph becomes unreadable in some cases unless you deselect the majority of the filters one by one which needs to be done every time.
