Unsure about ALM, but I can tell you my company connected Clarizen to various software solutions using the API and they said it was relatively easy and quick to do.

connecting Clarizen to HP ALM
Dear Clarizen community:
We have a department that uses HP's application lifecycle management software for managing releases. Has anyone here tried to connect HP ALM to Clarizen? (either via API or an app)
