Reference to Object

Hi,

I want to show the proejct priority on action items linked to the proejct, I have a Reference to Object task level field that points to the project (field name =A1) which I show in the task view (so the user knows from what proejct the action item is from). I want also to show the priority of the project in the task view so the user knows which proejct action item to work on first but cannot display it in the task view (need to display the Priority field).

Any ideas how to show the proejct priory in a linked action item task.

Suggestion - how about you create a custom field on the task level, and then create a workflow rule that copies it from the project level?

I put a WF on the proejct to update the action item prioirty to match the project prioirty
