Mandatory Fields for 'Add / Edit Mode' Form

Hello - we would also like the ability to set Mandatory Fields for the 'Add/ Edit' Mode' form, particular for a form to raise a new Request, that highlights the field with some visual marker (color, Asterisk, etc)

We have a Project Request form that requires several mandatory inputs, and though we have put validation rules behind it to prevent the record from being created without the data, it is not completely user friendly as they do not clearly know which fields are mandatory before trying to submit.
