My company also has a need to add milestone levels (sub-milestones). Is there a plan to build this functionality?

Sub-milestone or child milestone
Hi everyone,
I have submitted a request to develop functionality for sub-milestones. My objective is to represent phases/stages as the main milestone on the level below a project and then sub-milestones for key deliverables/decision gates on the level below the phase/stage. The key benefit for this approach is to make the WBS easier to view when there are high numbers of milestones in a complex project. Also, this functionality is possible in MS Project and correctly aligns with our internal project management model. Example below of parent milestone 'Scope' and child 'Scope complete'.

Hi Kimberley, we have been advised that it is very unlikely this will be developed.

Don't know what is the actual logic behind not using an industry standard scheduling methodology, where milestones are treated as a single event instead of group of activities (WBS). Has anybody got that feedback?
