Allow users to assign their own resourcing
Is it possible to allow resources assigned at the project level to assign their own resources percentages / hours? At the moment it appears a resource also has to be a manager to do this. Also what does the resource managers for groups field actually do? It appears to have no functionality

Thanks but that link doesn't explain the resource manager role at all - if I make someone a resource manager of a group it seems they still cannot affect the resource allocation on projects they are not managers on even if they are changing it for someone who is a member of the group they are a manager of.

They should be assigned as managers in this scenario as well. As for the resource manager role, this will become more relevant in a future release with new resource management functionality (including a resource request approval process).
