Changing profiles disappears when switching to some profiles

Hi,

 

I'm an admin and we are working on various profiles. When I switch to a different profile I lose the ability to easily switch back using the menu under my username (top right next to the "Show me" menu). This means I have to go to Settings and change my profile back again there.

This only appears for some of the profiles and not others....

This is rather laborious and seems like a bug to me or am I missing something?

Hi Robin,

We would want to check a few settings in your environment as what you are experiencing should not be happening by default. Please go ahead and open a support case with us and provide us with an access link. Thanks!

Solution:

The problem was that we had taken the "Profile" field out of the user fieldset - once reintroduced switching between the profiles works without problems.
