What object did you build the report on? If it was on the Project object, you will have to use Work Items instead.

Charts: Project Sub Items Charts
Trying to build a report that shows which milestones and tasks are past due or comping up. I created a formula for the past due and comping up and the table looks in the report looks fine. The problem I cant seem to get the chart to count at any level other than project
