I have not done this, but if Microsoft SQL database has an API, I don't see why this could not be done.

Using API to Get Data into MS SQL
Has anyone tried using the API to grab data out of Clarizen for insertion into a Microsoft SQL database? My boss is looking to include some Clarizen data (mostly employee time spent/logged on Projects) in Tableau reports. Thanks!

Doug,
I do that - but I grab the data through the api and insert it into a PostgreSQL database. So yes it is possible.
If your end goal is tableau reports - Clarizen has an integration for Tableau that you can purchase (https://www.clarizen.com/product/integration/) Note I have not used this so I don't have first-hand knowledge of its usage.

Thanks! I was aware of the Tableau integration available through Clarizen, but it either requires the Data Warehouse @$12K/year, or use of the API, which seems to be the direction we should head regardless based on both of your replies.
