My apologies its not a Custom Page character limit, but a formula expression length limit of 8000 characters, see screenshot:-

Custom Page HTML Limit
Would like to increase the character limit of HTML content within Custom Pages from 8000 characters. I've reached the limit on one of our pages, which will now mean I'll need to look at rearchitecting the design / flow (our pages has conditional logic within to manage objects for users with different rights / permissions).
