Hello Karen,
Units can be chosen in the column's format settings and saved to the view's settings afterwards. My suggestion is to use different views for different units.

Default value on 'Work'
Hello,
Some project managers would like to enter "Work" on a task in the unit "Hours", other would like to work with the unit "Days".
It this something that can be set on a project level? Now it seems you can only see days on tasks where you changed the unit to "Days" but on higher levels (milestones and projects) the unit remains hours.
