Did you figure this out?
The "Related Link" is the Direct Non-Labor Resource Link ("NonLaborResourceLinkDirect") that links the Non-Labor Resource to the work item.
Problem:
I'm trying to make a workflow that adds a new non-labour time-phase entry to a work item. (In the simplest case a custom function for non-financial users to add an expense to a task)
So I was thinking of using the custom action that would create a new item and have found the non-labour resource link item, which seems to be what I'm after. However, I have not been successful in finding what should go into the $RelatedLink field (screenshot attached) .

Hi,
maybe a few more details about what else I'm trying to achieve:
I'm setting up a purchasing system via Clarizen that would add approved orders as an actual cost to the project (maybe even as budgeted/planned cost when it has been submitted). However, I currently can't find a way of updating the non-labour costs in the financial planning module via a workflow/custom action.
Hi David,
apologies for the slow reply, however, I did not manage to solve this yet. I'm still a bit lost as to what I have to enter in the $relatedlink field. I can't find a function or field by the name Direct non-labor Resource link. Do I have to use the Getlink function ?
Thanks,
Robin
Does the link exist yet? Meaning has the Non-Labor Resource already been added to the work item?
