Change a field to Read only based on another fieldValue

Hi, I have a field which is a Yes/No pick-list, and i want to make some other fields editable if Yes is selected,  and Read Only if No or if no choice made entered. Can i do this in a workflow?

You can create a validation rule that will only allow changes if "Yes" is selected in the pick-list field.

This works s validation rule, but I don't believe you can change a field from read only based upon a pick list selection.
