Reporting Help

I want a report that will give me a list of projects (Name and ID), a total count or resources assigned and a total count of users that have reported time agains the project.

Example Columns and output:

ID    | Project Name     |  # of Resources Assigned | # of User Reported Time

Pxxx| Name of Project |             31                          |                    5

I am going to investigate using Related item summary custom data fields.

Have you tried creating a report using the fields you specified and then in the cog/columns option selecting sum under the relevant fields?
