User Permissions on Work Item "Work Type"

Hi,

I have various people with full access licenses; however, we want to block some of them from changing the Work Type field without having to change it on each individual project or work item.

Is this possible, and can someone tell me the steps to enable this?

Hi Kate,

Is the "Work Type" field a custom field? I am unsure if this is a standard field. If that is the case, I would recommend setting up a validation rule to prevent certain users to change this field.
